Hi\u00a0Readers! The lockdown is finally lifted where I live, which meant that I could finally order books after a good 3 months! This was a tricky task this time. My birthday was in March & I had given my friends a list of 15 books from which they could gift me. This list had some amazing books which I had wanted to read since a long time.\u00a0But,\u00a0my birthday was also the day of the first day of lockdown. So, I don\u2019t have my birthday book gifts yet & my friends won\u2019t tell me which ones they have bought. I had to ignore those 15 & order some books which were a bit lower on my TBR. But, now that these books are finally here, they have climbed to the top of my TBR!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~THRILLERS~~\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As per my 2021 Reading Challenge<\/a>, I had planned to read 10 thrillers this year. I have already 4, of which I only loved one \u2013 The Thursday Murder Club<\/a>. Anyway, that means I have 6 more thrillers to read. Because of the fast-paced story, I tend to finish them a lot faster than other books. This is why I ordered these 4 books to get ahead on the challenge!\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have already read 3 books in this category & the plan is to read 5. But these three books are the ones I have really wanted to read for a long time. I already started reading Firekeeper\u2019s Daughter & I am loving it so far! And, look how pretty the Six of Crows duology books are! How can anyone not read them? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

SIX OF CROWS & CROOKED KINGDOM BY LEIGH BARDUGO\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~FANTASY FICTION~~\u00a0<\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fantasy books target is also five, and I have only read one which was fantastic \u2013 The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue<\/a>. I have already read The Lost Apothecary<\/a>, but since I loved it so much, I had to have a copy of it. It\u2019s a bit of historical fiction & fantasy. Under my Reading Challenge, I have marked it under Historical Fiction. Another brilliant novel which everyone is talking about is The House in the Cerulean Sea, which is also something I am looking forward to read.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
