I am still glad I read them! Check them out below!

THE COMFORT BOOK by MATT HAIG

Ever since I read Matt Haig’s The Midnight Library, I knew I would read all of his books. The Comfort Book is just that, with the most apt title. It takes away all your fears, anxieties, worries & tensions. While reading this book, I felt like I was never alone & that whatever feelings I have are universal & felt by many people around the globe! This is a must-read for everyone! I have rated it at 4.5/5 stars.

IT ENDS WITH US by COLLEEN HOOVER

The first book I read by Colleen Hoover was Verity. I wasn’t a fan of it at all. Even so, I decided to give another book a try. With ‘It Ends With Us’, she won me over. I suppose romance is the genre in which she really shines. I may even read a couple of other romance novels by Colleen Hover. I am going to write a book review on this soon! As you all know, I am not really into classics, but as part of my 2021 Reading Challenge, I had to read THREE CLASSICS. And, because I was a bit behind schedule, I read these three classics which are fairly short!

THE PEARL by JOHN STEINBECK

I have loved reading John Steinbeck’s ‘Of Mice and Men’. His writing has this quality which makes it easy to read, which is also calming but at the same time you want to continue reading the book. Reading The Pearl was a similar experience & I liked the story as well. It was simple with big life lessons. I have rated it at 3.5/5 stars!

THE HOUSE ON MANGO STREET by SANDRA CISNEROS

When I was searching for short classics, The House on the Mango Street kept coming up in a lot of articles. So, I decided to read it. It’s the kind of book which is not really about anything, but also talks volumes. The prose is like poetry which makes it a wonderful reading experience.
