Hi Readers! How are you all? As promised, I am back with a Book Haul post! I got all these books from my parents on the occasion of Daughters\u2019 Day! As usual, these have been on my TBR since a long time. I already read 3 of these books, and the rest of the I will hopefully read soon enough!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~BRIDGE OF CLAY by MARKUS ZUSAK~~<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I think all of the readers worldwide have read & loved Markus Zusak\u2019s The Book Thief. My love for wartime historical fiction started with this novel. I must have read The Book Thief 7 or 8 years ago, and ever since then Bridge of Clay has been on my TBR. Now that I finally have it, I will read it soon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~CLOUD CUCKOO LAND by ANTHONY DOERR~~<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Similar to the above case, I have read Anthony Doerr\u2019s \u2018All the Light We Cannot See\u2019 & ever since I knew everything that he would write. His latest book Cloud Cuckoo Land released recently, and so I am really looking forward to be completely overwhelmed by all the sea of emotions I will have while reading it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~ARIADNE by JENNIFER SAINT~~<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ariadne is a mythological historical fiction. When I read its blurb, I was immediately reminded of Madeline Miller\u2019s 2 most amazing novels; Circe<\/a> & The Song of Achilles<\/a>! I am not sure when I will read this one, but it will be soon enough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~THE TRAVELLING CAT CHRONICLES by HIRO ARIKAWA~~<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I had always stuck with Haruki Murakami <\/a>when it came to Japanese authors & magical realism genre. But then I read Toshikazu Kawaguchi\u2019s Before the Coffee Gets Cold duology<\/a> & was in love with it. This is why I decided to venture out to read more Japanese authors. This looks like a cute short book which I will likely devour over a weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I read these books in September & luckily enjoyed reading all three! I will hopefully get the time to write the book reviews for them soon enough! You can read the mini reviews for them in my September Reads post<\/a>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, all in all, I have a lot of books on my TBR. My book-hungry phase has again quieted down, so I am reading only when I have a bit of time. I am not going out of my way to read. But, soon I will be back at it reading 3 books in 3 days like last time! Enjoy the mellow book blogger till then!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
