Hello Readers! It has been so much fun to write & share <\/span>7 posts in a row<\/span><\/b>! If you haven\u2019t checked my <\/span>21 Things to do in 2021<\/span><\/b>, go read it now<\/a>! Maybe you will find the inspiration you need. And, now coming to my <\/span>2021 Reading Challenge<\/span><\/b>! I had made a very tough list for my 2020 Reading Challenge<\/a>. As you know, my goal was to read <\/span>52 books in 52 weeks from 52 different categories<\/span><\/b>. After setting such a difficult task, it kind of took away the fun of actually reading a book, because I had to adhere to those 52 categories. This is the main reason why I have given myself some freedom & made <\/span>a challenge based on genres<\/span><\/b>. Check it out below! And, if you like it, go ahead and make this your 2021 Reading Challenge as well!<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~10 BOOKS~~<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because Historical Fiction<\/span><\/b> <\/span>is my favourite genre, I am sure I will have no problem in reading 10 books there. And, because I love reading one book in a day, I have decided to read 10 thriller<\/span><\/b> <\/span>novels. Hopefully, I will choose good ones here, because a lot of them are always predictable.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~5 BOOKS~~<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Next is Magical Realism<\/span><\/b> <\/span>which basically equates to Murakami<\/span><\/b> <\/span>books. 5 is a big number, given my love-hate relationship with his books, so this could actually be a challenge. The next 5 Fantasy<\/span><\/b> <\/span>novels are mainly going to be Brandon Sanderson\u2019s Stormlight Archive<\/span><\/b> <\/span>books. I have heard great things about them & so I am finally going to read them this year! The next 5 books are from the Romance<\/span><\/b> <\/span>genre, which is going to be another challenge, because I have never liked this genre unless you add cancer or war to the story. Hoping there are some really great releases this year in this genre. And lastly 5 poetry<\/span><\/b> <\/span>books which will be a piece of cake!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~3 BOOKS~~<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3 Young Adult<\/span><\/b> <\/span>novels should not be too difficult. I remember a time when I only read YA. Hopefully, I will make better choices of YA books this year. And another 3 classics<\/span><\/b> <\/span>is challenging. I am not a fan of classics. I have only ever liked Jane Eyre<\/a>, so hoping that reading all these 3 books does not become into 3 critical book reviews.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

~~2 BOOKS~~<\/o:p><\/span><\/b><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even though I have to read only 2 books each here, it is going to be the toughest, because I don\u2019t normally read these genres. For the autobiography<\/span><\/b>, I will try to read Obama Power Couple\u2019s autobiographies. And, I have no idea which 2 non-fiction<\/span><\/b>books I will end up reading, but I am sure I will figure something out!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

That\u2019s about it! Even if a few of you guys take up this challenge with me, it will mean a lot to me. Here\u2019s to more reading in 2021!<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
