October 2026 Recap!

Hi Readers! Two more months left in the year. And finally October became the month which was probably the worst of the entire year, with July standing in hot for the second place. I came home from my trip by end of second week to an empty home, because my parents had planned on staying another month at my brother’s place. And though the thought of having the home all to myself did sound appealing initially, but it wasn’t really a home with just me in it, was it? The month went by in jetlag, work stress, home responsibilities and just fragility surrounded by it all. But because I (a child with an adult age LOL) was alone here far away from family, everyone kept me company. I cannot be more grateful for my close relatives, office pals and the best friends a girl could ask for!
~~BOOKS~~
With all the many new books I bought, I had to redo the bookshelf, the book cart and the second bookshelf. Will finally need to let go of the YA books I read years ago, and make space for new ones. As for actual reading, with everything going on, I didn’t get much time or energy to read. But, I did manage to read one book. I have always wanted to read Kristin Harmel’s wartime historical fiction novels, so when I was in my no-rules state of mind in another country, I finally bought one and read it. I’ll review it soon, but I loved reading The Book of Lost Names.

Slide 3: Before staying over, Suruchi and I made a whole day out of it! Went for brunch, then bought ourselves flowers, went shopping, and then came back and hung out.
Slide 4:Made a lot of things initially.
